This day started with another lazy morning. Wolfie and I made block towers, hung out on the hammock, and looked for lizards in the yard.

After that Ferris, Le Grand Monsieur, and I decided that since none of us had been in the Mediterranean before we had to go swimming. The beach was pretty but it smelled somewhat fishy and the water was FREEZING.

After the swim, Dolphin, Le Grand Monsieur, and I decided it was time for a trip to the local winery - Clos d'Alzeto. The road there was a little harrowing, but we saw donkeys and old fashioned cars!

Finally we reached the winery! It has been family owned since 1800 and the owner was really nice. We got to try everything and everything was good. I bought a bottle of red wine from 2014 made of two types of Corsican grapes (Sciccarello and Nielluccio) and a jar of chestnut jam.

After that, we drove back to the air bnb with our wine. Pro tip: don't taste a bunch of wine and then drive on twisty Corsican roads unless you want to be extremely dizzy. Anyway, once we got back we had a lovely dinner consisting of wine, cheese, bread, and chocolate. It was not particularly healthy but it was very tasty!
