Art Exhibit and Dinner Pies

I had a random day off today so I went to see the art exhibit at the Alliance Français. Ex Libris ExChange is an international collaborative art project sponsored by the Boston/Strasbourg Sister City Association (BSSCA). The project has 13 artists from each city who each made art inspired by Georg Daniel Flor's journal. Flor lived in the 18th century and he was an ordinary soldier in a French brigade that participated in the American Revolutionary War and his journal shows he had hidden artistic talents.

After checking out the exhibit I went home and made some fancy dinner pies because Bone and her daughter were coming to dinner. There are no pictures of the dinner but we had a nice time.

Once dinner was over, I lounged on the couch with Esh before heading off to my night job.
