Fierce Friday!

Well, it's Fierce Friday today. I woke up tired but found inspiration in a very unlikely source: Tinkerbell. Yup. I dressed in vaguely Tinkerbell-themed clothing today. Yay?

Tinkerbell.

Tinkerbell looking cranky.

I didn't put too much effort into my outfit. But I figured I'm a white guy with blondish hair and blueish eyes so Tinkerbell and I are practically related already. I put on brown pants, a green shirt, a fairy dust necklace, some sparkly earrings, gold nail polish, and I grabbed my star fairy wand to complete the outfit.

Bippity Boppity Boo! Or whatever Tinkerbell says...

Mini T's Party

Today was Mini T's Birthday Party. It was a Wild West themed party and I will now throw a bunch of photos up here without attempting to put them in any sort of order...

Fierce Friday

Ok. I've continued my lazy Fierce Friday trend this week. I skipped showering and shaving. Then I borrowed a style frequently employed by my housemate Joy - the headscarf. Most of you probably know this style as the style used by black women when they don't feel like doing their hair on a particular day. Also worn because it looks awesome:

Woman with white, blue, and orange head scarf.

Woman with yellow and orange head scarf.

Woman with black shirt and red side-knotted headscarf.

Woman with yellow makeup and yellow front-knotted headscarf.

But it's not only for black women. Head scarfs are used by women of all races and also by some fashion forward men. Look at these men:

Comfy head scarf.

High fashion head scarf.

Cool checkered head scarf.

Amazingly coordinated head scarf.

Elaborate African-style head scarf.

Sea-colored casual head scarf.

So you see I'm in good company when I decided to don my head scarf. I picked this dark blue one with white bicycles on it because it coordinated with my dark blue nail polish and white t-shirt. Hooray!

I am so tired.

See my head?

Smiling me.

I make a weird face and show off my nails.

After work, I went to the Museum of Science with Joy, Belle, and Belle's friend. We had a blast! I highly recommend going there if you're looking for something fun to do in Boston.

Mini T's Birthday

Today Mini T turned four. And what she wanted was to go to Chuck E Cheese. So that's what she got.

Fierce Friday - Super Parrain

This week I've decided to go with a twist on the superman theme. Super Parrain! Parrain means "godfather" in French. I was going to do a whole dress clothing with open shirt to show the logo pose thing but then 7am happened. So I just threw on some jeans and my shirt left for work. I took exactly one crappy photo of me. Here you go:

Me in my Super Parrain shirt.

Unrelatedly, I need to buy smaller pants because apparently I shrunk over the summer. I'm pretty much swimming in my jeans and I look ridiculous. Sigh.

Also fun fact: superman was adopted!

This Week

The only particularly noteworthy thing to happen this week is that I went to Salem with Belle. We wandered about on a Pokemon walk with her friend and Sebastian the dog. I was excited by this cool Little Shop of Horrors plant sculpture:

We are scared of the plant.

I was also excited by this neat public art installation called "Stickwork" by Patrick Dougherty:

Isn't it cool?

Belle and the sculpture.

Sebastian also liked the sculpture. Perhaps a little too much?
